I spoke with a stranger about my work performance today. This man knows more about me and what I do working in a few minutes than my boss knows and we work together. Strange.

Hot Dog Fantasy

My boyfriend took me to NYC to see the musical "Spring Awakening" for my birthday. I happen to be a hot dog fanatic. We passed by this place called "The Brooklyn Diner USA." I, a NJ resident, LOVE diners. I was tempted by the colors of the sign alone. When I saw the sign in the window that read "15 Bite Brooklyn Hot Dog" I was sold.

So, we go inside and this one of the nicer "diners" we have ever been to. We see the menu and see that this infamous hot dog is nearly $16. We gasp and reconsider eating here because we are, afterall, cheap. Then my adorable boyfriend says "If you don't get that hot dog, I will lose all respect for you." Soo, I had to get it.

This hot dog comes out and I nearly wet myself. This hot dog is the most enormous frank I have ever seen! The pictures in the window we saw did this thing no justice. It's apparently nearly 16 inches long and 5 inches around. (Porn stars would be jealous of those measurements!) This was the first hot dog I have ever had to eat with a fork and knife!

Great piece of beef. Happy camper I was. Despite the fact, I couldn't finish it. >.<
